Yvonne Boyd & Co. was created by two extension artists and educators who believe great education should do more than teach someone how to follow steps. It should teach them how to think.
Our philosophy is simple: Teach the WHY.
No question is too small here. A lot of us learned in rooms where asking felt like admitting we didn’t know enough. We built this to be the opposite. Ask the basic question. Ask it twice. Confidence comes from understanding, and understanding comes from being allowed to ask.
We believe understanding the reasoning behind sectioning, placement, tension, bead selection, weight distribution, consultation, maintenance, and technique is what turns information into confidence behind the chair.
Our classes are intentionally small, with no more than six artists, so students receive genuine hands-on instruction, individual attention, room to ask questions, and support while they work.
We believe in quality over quantity, community over competition, and confidence over perfection. Our goal isn’t simply to hand someone a certification. We want artists to leave understanding their craft more deeply, trusting their own judgment, and knowing they have a community they can continue learning with.

Six hours. Six artists. Two educators. We’re not handing you steps to memorize. We’re teaching you why the placement, the tension and the bead choice matter, so when a new head of hair sits in your chair, you already know how to think it through.
Professional Hair Extension Products
We only carry hair we’d put on our own clients. Full-cuticle Remy, silicone-free and double drawn, in individual 12″ wefts so you can custom blend, highlight and build every install your way. Available to the artists we certify.
